    Samee is a director in the London office of Edgar, Dunn and Company, a global management consulting firm. Samee has advised some of the world’s largest financial organisations and mobile operators in North America, Europe, and Asia Pacific.

    Samee focuses on advanced payments consulting advising banks, mobile operators, and payment service providers on payments. His functional expertise extends from concept and new product development and strategy formulation to operations and technology implementation and improvement, and profitability improvement.
    He previously worked with PricewaterhouseCoopers and Scient Consulting based in London and New York. He started his career with Visa International in London where he helped banks enhance their payment product profitability.
    Samee has published a number of articles in leading industry journals and is a regular speaker at industry events. He has co-authored a book “Developing and Managing a Successful Payment Cards Business” published by Gower Publications.
    Samee completed his B Sc at the Government College in Lahore, Pakistan, is a chartered accountant, and was a Commonwealth Scholar at the City University in London where he obtained his MBA in Finance.

    Since 2011, he has been working at the Central Bank of the Russian Federation (Bank of Russia) as Deputy Director of the National Payment System Department.

    Since 2015, he has been working as the Chairman of the Board of the Association "Financial innovation".

    He is awarded by diplomas of honor of the Government of the Moscow Oblast, Sberbank of Russia, and a medal For Faithful Service from Sberbank of Russia.

    Born 13 September 1980.
    In 2003, he graduated from the Moscow Institute of Electronics and Mathematics (Technical University) specializing in Mathematical Methods of Researching Operations in Economics and qualifying as Mathematical Economist.
    He started his career in 1999 with AKB Avtobank OAO, and in May 2003 was appointed Deputy Head of the Administration of banking and regional technologies of AKB Avtobank-NIKoil.
    In October 2004, he was appointed Business Development Director at RUCARD Group specializing at providing a wide range of services in the sphere of automation of cashless financial operations in Russia and CIS.
    From June 2011 till July 2013, he worked at L7 Group as Business Development Director, dealing with high-tech infrastructural projects in major trading networks, credit organizations and payment systems.
    Since 2013, he has been employed at the Federal Treasury as Deputy Head of the Budget Payments Development Administration.
